With the new late licensing laws coming into play recently, The Woods grabbed the opportunity with open arms and has made a huge success of itself, recently being voted as the best late night bar in the Theme awards for London & The South. When we invite a bar to become part of Platinum, we like them to stand out and The Woods does this in many ways. They have the best range of Whiskeys in Bristol and run a monthly Whisky night, the music policy is guitar-driven and of course it has the garden and late night license. The interior is certainly different, with a homely and unintimidating feel. The framed insects and animal horns on the walls, do provide for interesting conversation! The Whiskey list talks for itself, all available on the rocks or in a cocktail and there are several organised evenings ranging from a quiz night on Wednesdays which is great fun to a live music night.
