Located on Merchants Road in Hotwells, where the floating harbour meets the river, with easy access by Bristol Ferry, The Pump House is a welcome addition to the gastropub circuit in Bristol. Toby Gritten (ex Bell's Diner and The Albion) has bought a cracking selection of favourite dishes to the menu such as homemade burgers, fish & chips or gammon & fried egg to sit alongside his creative, seasonal A La Carte menu which includes Organic Belly Pork, seared Cornish squid and fennel as well as 35 day aged rib of beef, hand cut chips, bone marrow and nasturium salad and of course a great selection of desserts. The waterfront location is perfect for a hot summer's day but do not be mistaken that The Pump House is a great place for all the seasons. With ample parking and excellent access, The Pump House really should be tried out.
