Fishers Seafood Restaurant is as much a part of the Clifton Village dining scene as a fish is to water. Serving a wide variety of fresh fish and shellfish from sustainable sources, prepared using imaginative ingredients and techniques to create the daily changing menu. So tuck into their traditional haddock fish and chips in beer batter with mushy peas and gherkins, a big bowl of steaming mussels from the River Fowey or Scottish salmon fishcakes with lemon butter sauce. Although much of the fish is internationally sourced (including shark, sea bass, swordfish barracuda and Canadian lobster) Fishers still features English favourites from the Cornish coast such as scallops, lemon sole, skate and Dover sole. Their loyal following of regular customers has meant that securing a table isn’t always that easy, but that just makes it all the more enticing. Well worth a visit!
